A Brand New Challenge!

Development for a brand new short film was in full swing today with the Black Cat Films crew. Most ideas were extended into a draft script over cake and coffee in an attempt to service the appeal for that of an older audience.

After the AniJam short "Together Beyond", a new more experimental look will introduce the innocents of a child's mind in a fully illustrated style of animation entitled "I love my Grandmaar".

As a team we are curating a way to enforce dialogue suited to the 5/6 year old narrator which will be heard over this short film. A script is currently being written and developed to suit the comedic requirements of this brand new and exciting challenge we are taking on. Once again we are proving that animation itself isn't always catered for children and that the look can be used in an ironic fashion to surprise audiences into thinking the visual innocence reflects that of the subject; in which this case it certainly won't!
