New Year, New Projects!

Last year's animated project was a success and I learnt a lot from making my first 'proper' stop motion short film (The Lady in White). I'm already planning my next short as well as pushing my skills with Dragonframe and After Effects to create the best quality possible in my animation.

This year will start with the debut of a Thomas the Tank Engine related short, which has been in and out of production for the past 3 years now. I have finally finished the remaining shots required and have polished my animation and visual effects significantly since the former episode (Mountain Engine) from 2012.

'Bad Look Out' will be screened at Brighton Model World, alongside some behind the scenes images and teaser videos related to my Thomasfan8 YouTube channel; given the interest that has surrounded this project. This time the episode will feature a composer to create music from scratch- which is really exciting and less stressful for myself!

I will however be exploring a brand new original idea for a short film that's slightly more upbeat and universal than my film noir project; 'The Lady in White' short film from last year.
