Compositing onto After Effects Visuals

Instead of animating incrimental pieces of animation, I decided to fade the frames into one another to create a gentle ghostly movement as she slowly sinks. Pictured above is a frame in Photoshop where I removed the bakground and rendered the image with an alpha channel.

The image above is the current composition demonstrating the final look of the shot. I have layered several After Effects tools and effects to blend the stop motion frames into the CG background and bubbles. After grading her to match the lightness of the background tones, the overall shot has become more realistic and seamless.
