The Climax: Lady in White

The purpose of today's shot is to establish why the other woman, or 'The Lady in White', followed her husband to the dockyard with his gun. Establishing the fact she found the letter and decided to take revenge meant the movement of the shot had to place an emphasis on both objects. What was a challenge was getting the light to illuminate the gun's outline and expose the letter in the same shot. It's created a rather nice darkness on the horizon which creates a lovely contrast.
