Underwater Film work: The Impossible

Introducing 'The Lady in White' with an underwater shot means having to work around how it will be animated. I looked at a scene from 'The Impossible' which has a similar atmosphere, in parts, to the one in which I will be creating. The heavenly slow moving shots are similar to the ones that I shall be doing and so looking at the colour grading and silohettes in this sequence has been intruiging to see how it's been handled before. I certainly think the ripples need to look realistic and calm as her shape covers the light from the moon; this is leading me to believe that using computer animation will be easier and more manipulative in terms of my possibilities with the opening and closing.
