Dramatic Acting: Venetian Blinds Day 3

To reflect the 1940s visually is to not only take discilplines from the use of lighting, but to analyse the acting too and especially when a female character is scared or surprised the acting will always be overplayed for the camera. I therefore wanted to reference this in today's shot by overplaying her reaction to the gun in a somewhat eccentric way.

Example of exaggerated acting from 'Flying Deuces' (1939)
