Compositing Session

Todays skills session was about familiarising myself with industry Photoshop skills. The compositing session allowed me to understand basic tricks used by visitor Tim, who’s work would be colour graded through adjustment layers. Having him explain the purpose for an adjustment layer clarified the significance of using them within picture editing and compositing in both my own work and possible uses for industry work. Using these adjustment layers I’m able to allow myself to perfect colour and effects until they look right as well as being flexible with client work; being able to go back and customise the picture without drastic effects- simple fine tweaking.
