Summer show Inspirations: Aardman Exhibition

Looking at the way in which Aardman exhibits their work was the starting point for exhibition ideas for the summer show. My models will certainly need to be on display at a height that most adults can see at eye level when browsing the exhibition. The main thing to consider is the colouring on the walls and how that will look once everyone elses projects are on display.

Having a display such as the storyboards (above) will enable visitors to see the process of production through the stages as early as concept art. Having prints on the wall will being visually engaging for anyone who comes to the show. The colour is rather interesting and works well when making the drawings bolder and more apparent. I think this could potentially be a suiting colour for the 3rd years to use when exhibiting their pre-production work.

The image above is a possible idea for having a street set displayed with the characters behind some glass for visitors to understand the scale of the production. At least have the models on show for people to see the mouth shapes and height and scale of the models; which is of best interest for my production.
