Test Dolly Shots

These two test shots were created with a stretch of Hornby model railway track and my camera mounted on top to enable a panning movement around the set. Having these initial tests, I'll be simplifying my approach to the movements for the final clips in the film. What is lovely is seeing the lighting instantly change from colour to black and white. I need to make sure I address the frame rate with more care for the shots in the final edit so that the movement is fluid and less jittery. To avoid the jittery look, I will be making sure the camera is fixed properly to the wagon whilst it rolls down the track.
