Sketches to Sculptures: Maya Scene Rendering
My storyboard animatic illustrates a fairly straight forward set design so I knew that the rendering in maya wouldn't be too tedious however the colour contrast between the elements had to be clear. The image below shows the water standing out because of the mesh having a glowing gloss texture to get a more realistic look from the video. The rest has been coloured to encourage the streaky shadows when the lighting is put in place for a contrast between the frogs and the setting.
